Royal Młynówka
The first mention of Młynówka Królewski comes from the 13th century, when it was decided to lead the waters of the Rudawa River from Mydniki to the center of Krakow via an earth aqueduct for economic, drinking and defense purposes. The water from the canal was also used by the royal mills and the mill in Bronowice, as well as by the city baths and numerous fountains.
Redoubt Fort No. 7 Bronowice
Fort 7 Zarzeką (main core, redit) was built in 1854. Its creation, as in the case of fort 9 Krowodrza, was an expression of a return to the Wurmba project from the 1950s, temporarily abandoned in the face of the Crimean War. These forts strengthened the most exposed, north-western section of the fortress, so far devoid of any permanent works.
